About Junobot: Junobot is a WhatsApp-based shopping assistant operated by Acquire Job Skills (Junovortex Division). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use Junobot for shopping.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information
When you use Junobot via WhatsApp, we collect the following information:
- WhatsApp Phone Number: Automatically collected when you initiate conversation with Junobot
- Name: Provided by you during registration or order placement
- Delivery Address: Complete shipping address including street, landmark, city, state, PIN code
- Email Address: Optional, for order confirmations and receipts
- Order History: Details of all products/services purchased through Junobot
- Communication Data: All messages exchanged with Junobot on WhatsApp
1.2 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway:
- We do NOT store your complete credit/debit card numbers, CVV, or banking passwords
- We receive and store only payment metadata including: transaction ID, amount, payment status, and last 4 digits of card (for reference)
- Razorpay processes and securely stores your complete payment information as per PCI-DSS compliance standards
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, WhatsApp version
- Usage Data: Interaction patterns, bot commands used, browsing behavior within Junobot
- Location Data: Approximate location derived from delivery address (not GPS tracking)
- Timestamps: Date and time of all interactions and transactions
1.4 WhatsApp/Meta Integration
Important Notice:
By using Junobot, you acknowledge that:
- Your interactions are processed through WhatsApp Business API (Meta Platforms)
- Meta's own privacy policies and data processing terms apply to the WhatsApp communication layer
- We comply with Meta's Business Terms of Service for all bot interactions
- WhatsApp messages may be subject to Meta's data processing and storage policies
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Primary Purposes
- Order Fulfillment: Processing orders, coordinating with vendors, arranging delivery
- Payment Processing: Facilitating secure payments through Razorpay
- Customer Support: Responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, handling returns/refunds
- Account Management: Maintaining your shopping profile and order history
- Legal Compliance: Meeting tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements under Indian law
2.2 Secondary Purposes
- Personalized Recommendations: Suggesting products based on browsing and purchase history
- Service Improvements: Analyzing usage patterns to enhance Junobot functionality
- Marketing Communications: Sending promotional offers (only with your explicit consent)

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
3.1 With Vendors (Sellers)
When you place an order, we share the following information with the specific vendor:
- Your name, phone number, and delivery address
- Order details (items, quantities, specifications)
- Payment confirmation status (not payment details)
Purpose: To enable order fulfillment and delivery coordination.
3.2 With Payment Gateway (Razorpay)
- Transaction details including amount, order ID, and customer contact information

If your geographical area is serviced by a franchisee operating Junobot under their own brand:
- The franchisee acts as the Data Controller for your specific region
- Your data (name, contact, orders) is accessible to the franchisee for local operations
- Franchisees are contractually bound to follow this Privacy Policy
- The franchisee name and contact will be disclosed to you at the time of onboarding
3.5 Third Parties We Do NOT Share With
We will NEVER:
- Sell your personal information to marketing companies or data brokers
- Share your data with external advertisers without your explicit consent
- Disclose your payment card details to anyone (including vendors)
- Provide your data to third parties for their independent marketing purposes

Update your information anytime using Junobot commands:

5.3 Account Deletion
Request complete account deletion by sending: /delete-account via WhatsApp
- We will confirm deletion within 48 hours
- Personal identifiers will be anonymized within 30 days
- Transaction records retained for legal compliance only (anonymized)
5.4 Marketing Opt-Out
To stop receiving promotional messages: Send /opt-out-marketing
Note: You will still receive transactional messages (order confirmations, delivery updates)
5.5 Restrict Data Processing
You can request restriction on how we use your data for secondary purposes (recommendations, analytics) by contacting our Grievance Officer.
