Welcome to Junobot! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Junobot WhatsApp shopping platform operated by Acquire Job Skills (Junovortex Division). By using Junobot, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By initiating a conversation with Junobot on WhatsApp, browsing products, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue using Junobot immediately.

2. Definitions

  • "Junobot" or "Platform": The WhatsApp-based shopping assistant and e-commerce platform
  • "We," "Us," "Our": Acquire Job Skills (Junovortex Division)
  • "You," "Customer," "User": Any person using Junobot for shopping
  • "Vendor" or "Seller": Third-party businesses selling products/services through Junobot
  • "Order": Purchase request placed through Junobot
  • "Franchisee": Licensed operators managing Junobot in specific geographical territories

3. Service Description

Junobot is a technology platform that connects customers with vendors through WhatsApp. We provide:

  • Product discovery and browsing via WhatsApp bot interface
  • Order placement and tracking functionality
  • Secure payment processing via Razorpay
  • Customer support and dispute resolution assistance

Important Clarification:

Junovortex acts as a technology facilitator only. The actual contract of sale for products and services is between YOU (the customer) and the VENDOR (the seller). We are not the seller of products listed on the platform.

4. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Junobot and make purchases
  • If you are under 18, you must have parental/guardian consent to use the platform
  • You must have a valid WhatsApp account and Indian mobile number
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and checkout
  • You agree not to create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes

5. Account Registration and Security

5.1 Account Creation

  • Your WhatsApp number serves as your unique identifier on Junobot
  • You must provide accurate name, delivery address, and contact information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

5.2 Account Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • All activities that occur through your WhatsApp number
  • Ensuring your device security (password protection, anti-malware)
  • All orders placed using your account
  • Any fraudulent or unauthorized transactions from your account

6. Product Listings and Pricing

6.1 Product Information

  • Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided by vendors
  • We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee absolute accuracy of vendor-provided information
  • Colors, sizes, and appearance may vary from images due to display settings
  • Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

6.2 Pricing Errors

  • In case of obvious pricing errors, vendors reserve the right to cancel orders
  • Full refunds will be processed if orders are canceled due to pricing errors
  • We are not obligated to honor incorrect prices

7. Order Placement and Confirmation

7.1 Order Process

  1. Browse products through Junobot WhatsApp interface
  2. Add items to cart and proceed to checkout
  3. Provide/confirm delivery address and contact details
  4. Select payment method and complete payment
  5. Receive order confirmation via WhatsApp

7.2 Order Acceptance

  • Your order is an offer to purchase from the vendor
  • The vendor has the right to accept or reject your order
  • Order is confirmed only when the vendor accepts and dispatches it
  • Payment authorization does not guarantee order fulfillment
  • If vendor rejects order, full refund will be processed within 5-7 business days

8. Payment Terms

8.1 Payment Methods

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Accepted methods include:

  • Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express)
  • Debit Cards
  • Net Banking
  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
  • Wallets (Paytm, Mobikwik, etc.)

8.2 Payment Security

Your Payment is Secure:

  • All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS certified Razorpay gateway
  • We do NOT store your card details, CVV, or banking passwords
  • Payment information is encrypted using industry-standard protocols
  • 3D Secure/OTP authentication for added security

8.3 Payment Issues

  • If payment fails, you may retry or choose a different payment method
  • If amount is deducted but order not confirmed, refund processed within 5-7 business days
  • Contact our support immediately for payment-related issues
  • We are not liable for bank/payment gateway technical failures

9. Delivery and Shipping

9.1 Delivery Terms

  • Delivery timelines are estimated and provided by vendors
  • Actual delivery may vary based on location, product availability, and external factors
  • Delivery address cannot be changed after vendor accepts/dispatches order
  • You must be available to receive delivery at the provided address

9.2 Delivery Charges

  • Shipping fees (if applicable) are displayed before order confirmation
  • Some vendors may offer free delivery above certain order values
  • Remote/rural areas may incur additional delivery charges

9.3 Failed Delivery

  • If delivery fails due to incorrect address or customer unavailability, re-delivery charges may apply
  • After 2-3 failed delivery attempts, order may be canceled and returned to vendor
  • Refund will be processed after deducting return shipping costs

10. Cancellations and Returns

Please refer to our detailed Refunds and Cancellations Policy for complete information. Summary:

10.1 Order Cancellation

  • You can cancel orders before vendor accepts/dispatches them
  • Send cancellation request via WhatsApp using command: /cancel-order [Order ID]
  • Full refund processed within 5-7 business days for pre-dispatch cancellations
  • Post-dispatch cancellations subject to vendor's return policy

10.2 Returns and Refunds

  • Defective/damaged products can be returned within 7 days of delivery
  • Product must be unused, in original packaging with tags intact
  • Certain items (perishables, personal care, customized products) are non-returnable
  • Return process initiated via WhatsApp; vendor will verify and approve

11. Prohibited Items and Activities

Strictly Prohibited:

The following items CANNOT be sold or purchased through Junobot:

  • Prescription Drugs: Medicines requiring valid prescriptions (violates Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940)
  • Weapons and Ammunition: Firearms, explosives, knives (except kitchen use), pepper spray
  • Stolen Goods: Any illegally obtained items
  • Illegal Substances: Narcotics, recreational drugs, banned substances
  • Counterfeit Products: Fake branded items, pirated software, unauthorized replicas
  • Adult Content: Pornographic material (as per Indian laws)
  • Endangered Species Products: Ivory, exotic animal parts, protected wildlife items

Consequences: Account suspension, order cancellation, legal action, reporting to authorities

12. Customer DO's and DON'Ts

DO's - Please Follow

  • ✓ Provide accurate delivery address and contact information
  • ✓ Check product descriptions and specifications carefully before ordering
  • ✓ Make payments only through Junobot's official Razorpay gateway
  • ✓ Inspect products immediately upon delivery for defects/damage
  • ✓ Report issues within specified timeframes (7 days for returns)
  • ✓ Communicate politely with vendors and support staff
  • ✓ Keep order confirmations and receipts for reference
  • ✓ Update your profile information if contact details change
  • ✓ Read vendor-specific return/refund policies before purchase
  • ✓ Use genuine product reviews to make informed decisions
  • ✓ Respect delivery personnel and handle packages carefully
  • ✓ Report fraudulent vendors or suspicious activities immediately

DON'Ts - Strictly Avoid

  • ✗ Do NOT share your WhatsApp account with others for fraudulent orders
  • ✗ Do NOT attempt to purchase prohibited items listed above
  • ✗ Do NOT make payments outside the official Razorpay gateway
  • ✗ Do NOT provide fake or incorrect delivery addresses
  • ✗ Do NOT claim false product defects to get refunds
  • ✗ Do NOT harass or abuse vendors, delivery staff, or support team
  • ✗ Do NOT place test/prank orders with no intention to purchase
  • ✗ Do NOT attempt to reverse-engineer or hack Junobot systems
  • ✗ Do NOT share inappropriate content or spam through WhatsApp
  • ✗ Do NOT dispute legitimate charges with banks to avoid payment
  • ✗ Do NOT refuse delivery without valid reason after order confirmation
  • ✗ Do NOT post fake reviews or engage in review manipulation
  • ✗ Do NOT use Junobot for any illegal or unethical purposes

13. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Junobot name, logo, software, and all platform content are proprietary to Acquire Job Skills
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
  • Product images and descriptions belong to respective vendors
  • Unauthorized use of trademarks or copyrighted content is prohibited

14. Limitation of Liability

Junovortex/Acquire Job Skills is NOT liable for:

  • Product Quality: Defective products sold by vendors (direct vendor liability)
  • Service Outages: WhatsApp/Meta API downtime or technical failures
  • Payment Delays: Razorpay processing issues or bank delays
  • Delivery Failures: Courier/logistics partner delays or lost packages
  • Vendor Disputes: Conflicts between you and the vendor
  • Indirect Damages: Loss of profits, business interruption, emotional distress
  • Force Majeure: Acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions

Our maximum liability is limited to the value of your specific order.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Junovortex, Acquire Job Skills, and our affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Your misuse of the platform or fraudulent activities
  • Your violation of any third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, etc.)
  • Any disputes between you and vendors

16. WhatsApp and Meta Compliance

WhatsApp Usage Notice:

  • Junobot operates through WhatsApp Business API provided by Meta Platforms
  • Your use of Junobot is subject to WhatsApp Terms of Service
  • Meta's privacy policies apply to message transmission and metadata collection
  • We comply with Meta's Business Terms for all bot interactions
  • WhatsApp service availability is beyond our control

17. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Key points:

  • We collect phone number, name, address, order history, and payment metadata
  • Data is shared with vendors (for fulfillment) and Razorpay (for payments)
  • We never sell your personal information to third parties
  • You can request data deletion via /delete-account command

18. Dispute Resolution

18.1 Customer Support

For any issues or disputes, contact us first:

  • Any disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

19. Modifications to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time
  • Material changes will be notified via WhatsApp message
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated terms
  • Check the "Last Updated" date at the top for recent revisions

20. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms and Conditions
  • You engage in fraudulent activities or payment disputes
  • You attempt to purchase prohibited items
  • You abuse or harass vendors, delivery staff, or support team
  • You create multiple fake accounts
  • Your activities pose security or legal risks

Termination may result in forfeiture of pending refunds and legal action.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

  • You accept the DO's and DON'Ts outlined above
  • You consent to data collection as per our Privacy Policy
  • You agree to the limitation of liability and dispute resolution clauses
  • You understand prohibited items cannot be purchased through the platform
